This is a RFI regarding the project for a new water sluice in Kongsholmparken in Albertslund:

Description of the necessary functions for the needed water sluice.

For the control of water in a channel in the city center of Albertslund in Denmark, a new sluice is needed.

The upstream area of the sluice is an open rainwater channel, with sides of concrete and a bottom of clay. The channel has a width of 7 m and will make a max water flow on the sluice of 4 m3/s. The sluice will be placed after the channel in an area with a span from side to side of 6 m.

The channel must in everyday situation have a permanent water level. Water exceeding the everyday level must be let through the sluice. When the water level reaches the everyday level, the sluice must be closed. The sluice must be tight, preferably without any water loss, so that the channel will not run dry during periods with no rain.

The flow in the channel is entirely related to the amount of rain. Which means that in times of heavy rainfall the sluice should be able to open up completely and let all water pass through.

The sluice must be able to be controlled automatic from already existing PLC.

Preferably, the sluice control system and engine does not have to be placed under water, to make maintenance easier.

The sluice must be able to:

1) Keep tight, for a permanent waterlevel;

2) Open up and transport a waterflow of 4 m3/s;

3) There is a maximum width of 6 m;

4) Have an automatic control system.
