Call for Market Dialogue Regarding the Geophysical, Geotechnical and Environmental Site Investigations for the Energy Islands in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea
The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) invites potential tenderers and relevant market operators to participate in the written market dialogue on the geophysical, geotechnical and environmental site investigations for the Energy Islands in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Based on political agreements on location and site investigations, Energinet is – on behalf of DEA and the Ministry of Climate and Energy – undertaking site investigations for the energy islands in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. The results from the site investigations are expected to inform future tenders of energy islands and decrease risk. This market dialogue will be an opportunity for the market and potential tenderers to provide feedback, input and recommendations on the main elements of the site investigations and the time schedule for these. The market dialog on site investigations will only be in writing, and there will be no physical or virtual dialogue meetings via Skype.
The expected timetable for the market dialogue:
23 June 2021: Discussion paper available on the website stated in section I.1).
14 July 2021: Requested deadline for submission of written answers and recommendations from all potential tenderers and relevant market actors.
The DEA will later publish a short memo of the overall findings from the market dialogue on the website stated in section I.1).
The DEA has also submitted a press release regarding this call for market dialogue. The press release is available on the website stated in section I.1).
A preliminary date for publication of the contract notice in section II.3) cannot be set, because this call for market dialogue covers the energy Island in the North Sea and the energy island in Baltic Sea, i.e. this market dialogue covers more than one future tender.
